On my last visit Parson's lodge was closed. Is it open yet? If not,
what's happening there?

Sadly the Heritiage trust turned it over to Government and kicked
out the guy who was doing an excellent job there as caretaker and
making a small living out of the cafe.

It is no longer open to the public.
